It's back! The April show will again be an open show, with the requirement to purchase a 12" x 12" canvas from Sequoia. The application can be downloaded here, and also available as hard copies in the gallery starting February 1. Artists deliver completed canvasses between March 24 and March 30. The show will open with a First Tuesday reception on April 3. Artists of all stripes are welcome to participate! The show is non-juried, and artists receive 80% of sales price if a piece sells.

Join us in an art x-change!!! Create a work of art no larger than 6" x 6" in any medium. Bring your art work concealed in a paper bag, along with a $10.00 participation fee, to Sequoia Gallery classroom for a fun social evening with other artists to exchange your art. It’s a great way to start your own art collection as well as meet other artists. Everyone is welcome at all levels from established to emerging. Bring a snack to share. It’s like the fun gift exchange game that some families play. Numbers will be assigned and drawn to determine the order for choosing your favorite bag to open. Others may choose to “swipe” it from you. In any event, you will go home with a new piece of artwork.
